My 80 year old father and I just returned from a great trip. The first day we went to Epcot WS Mexico was the same as always, but when we went there again on Wednesday, they had the front of the building covered except for the entrances. I don't know how long it's going to be that way & didn't ask, but was wondering if anyone has heard anything.

Very interesting, I have not heard anything, but I love the Mexico Pavillion. Thanks for the info. and I bet someone has heard somthing.

I think it is just outside painting. When we were there in January, they had the right side of the building covered. I asked and they said it was an "outside" refinishing.

Does it take away from the magic of the pavillion? Mexico is my favorite pavillion and I will be really bummed out if when i go in two weeks, it's covered by ugly cloth and being painted...

Why don't they paint things at night :(

It does look bad. You can't see the pyramid really. However, nothing is closed as a result.

:( Anyone know if it will be done in 2 weeks

To tell you the truth, as long as I can ride El Rio delTiempo, I'm happy! :p :boat:
