Just back--LOTS of Pixie Dust :)+ in 2 parades

We were at WDW OCt 14-21 and had a WONDERFUL time. Don't know if it was part of the Year of a Million Dreams, or our DS's 7th birthday or what but we received LOTS of pixie Dust

Here's some highlights:
1. 1st stay at WL-----Room 4032--woodsview/view of trees with CR, Space Mtn. and at night the castle!!!

2. We were picked to ride in the Fire Truck down Main Street for the new "Family Fun Parade" at M on 10/15

3. Two days later were were picked to ride in the AK "Jammin Jungle Parade on 10/17. We rode in the rickshaw directly in front of the Donald Duck float!!!

4. DS turned 7 on 10/19--He received balloons and an autographed picture of Mickey from the WL staff; he got a cupcake at every dinner; and a FREE full birthday cake at Garden Grill; he got birthday wishes from everyone and got to "drive" the boat on Jungle Cruise.

5. We attended our 1st MNSSHP on 10/17 and got a family picture with Snow WHite and ALL 7 Dwarfs!!

My Wife and I also just returned and we had a great time. We went to the Halloween party on the same night as you did and had a blast. Glad to hear that you and your family had such a great time.

Good Lord! Ya'll had a lot of magic spread your way! I've always wanted to ride in the AK parade! That would be so much fun!! So exciting!

what a wonderful trip for you and your family, it sounds like everyone had a blast. The riding in the parades had to be special treat, and a time to remember. I hope you were able to have someone take your pictures for your family while in the parade. You would want those as a special keepsake.

I think there was a lot of pixie dust flying around 10/14-10/21 at WDW! My family (DH, DS and I) were there and had a WONDERFUL time.

We were given YOAMD ears and a special pass to bypass the line to see Mickey at the Judges Tent at Toontown. I was picked to participate in the Woody's Roundup show, and my son was "initiated" into Jack Sparrow's pirate crew.

Talk about making memories!!

My husband has already said that we should go back in a few years (last trip before this was June 2004)!
