Well
I loved it, thought it was perfect for us....
I got a good rate of $700 for 5 nights and mainly went for the lagoon, which is a small scale water park of sorts, there were numerous slides, one was big enough to keep my 13 and 16 yr old happy, a very small wave thing which went off every 15 minutes or so... if you weren't waiting for it you would miss it, the waves were not that "rough" Lots of "waterfalls" and squirty things... volleyball and basketball net in the pool.... I'd say it's best suited for 6-11 yr olds, that way they are old enough to go all around on their own, but young enough to still get a kick out of it. The lifeguard situation was impressive, every 6-8 ft there was a guard. They were very attentive to the kids, making sure they were safe and all were following the rules. A zero entry area for the little ones.... a baby pool with a cool octopus thing shooting water... lots of chairs....
The only restaraunt/bar at the resort was at the lagoon, open only until 9pm or so.... pretty good and reasonably priced food/drinks.
They have bumper boats, paddle boats, fishing, mini golf, great playground and surrey bikes to rent. Those were fun....
The resort itself is... ummm... maybe dated it the word. It's supposidly 5 star, but I've been to better. My analogy is, fancy resorts decorate like Pier 1, LTV is decorated like Target.

Not dirty or tacky, but not majorly upscale.
I heard, and requested, and was glad I did, a two bedroom suite in the 1100 building. One that is all one one floor, not an upstairs/downstairs. It was somewhat bigger, more spread out that way. The rooms were nice, fully equiped. Nice jacuzzi tub in the master bath....
I was happy with it, we would definetly go again...
