Just back, late last night...

and I forgot to get a dolewhip! I can't belive it! We had a great time. The parks were croweded more than I thought for this time of year. The weather was great, only one day I would say it was cold but not bad. The last three days it was HOT! And only rained one day for only a few minutes and very lightly! Pal Mickey was a hit with my DS, he had to have it! I'll post my review on POP and a few hightlights later. Just wanted to say thanks for all your help. We had a great trip thanks to the DIS!

I'm glad you had a good time. And, well, now you'll just have to plan your next trip so you can go back for that Dole Whip! (There's ALWAYS a reason to go back, you know)

I feel your pain!!! We were in MK on 11/30, going on a few attractions before our LTT meal at 5:30. I had completely forgotten to get my DoleWhip on the previous trips to MK this trip. So, of course I had to stop and get one at 4:30!!!! Sort of dampened my dinner appetite but hey....who cares. Now you'll just have to go back. Any excuse is a good one as far as I'm concerned.

I'm glad to hear about the weather!!! Keep your fingers crossed that it is HOT in 3 more weeks when we go. I'm already tired of this cold weather we have (and it's only been in the 40's this week). The kids want to swim, too.

OK, I've NEVER had a Dole Whip. What are they and where do I find them? I've heard of them before on these boards, but I've never looked for one...sounds like an ice cream dessert which I don't eat.

We stayed at Pop Century. It was nice but we had a few problems with housekeeping. The cast members in the store and the front desk were great! They were extreemley helpful when we needed it, they printed our boarding passes for us. One cast memeber even helped tutor our kids in math yesterday when we were waiting for our ride to the airport! He was an elementary school teacher. I just think it's time we tried something other than value. I loved Movies when we stayed there but would love the convenience of the monorail or boat. The busses were ok too. Only a few times we had to wait a long time. One guy in front of us made a joke they should have fast passes for the busses. We had a lot of Pop Warner cheerleaders but not a problem. As a matter of fact we had fun with them by the pool the other day. The lifeguards were having a cheering match back and fourth with the kids. It was great! Met lots of interesting people. Just have to say HI and strike up a conversation! Also met a lot of RUDE people. While waiting in line for the teacups, one family (grandparents with grandkids) unhooked the chain and cut right in front of me and four kids i had with me. The two oder kids with me looked at me with this look of disgust and they were only 10! Then when it was time to get on the teacups the cast memeber unhooked the chain and the grandmother put her hand across my DD chest to hold her back from getting on until they chose their teacup. That was it....I calmly told her not to put her hands on my children! and i walked away! I had a few other encounters but all in all more nice people than rude. All in all a great trip, rude people aren't going to ruin my good time!

crzy4mickey, I'm glad you had a good time, but OMG I can't believe how some people can be. People like that really make you wanna slap them. Did you tell the CM that they had just cut in line. I know sometimes we just let people slide, but if people start riding them on obviously rude behavior, then maybe they'll get the message.

Glad you didn't let ignorant people spoil your trip.
