Just back last night...

We (DM, DH, DD7, DS4) just returned last night from a fanastic week at the Contemporary. Our food reviews are:

San Angel Inn-fair food, excellent atmosphere,needs a better menu
Crystal Palace-breakfast-excellent food & atmosphere, as usual
CRT-lunch-We were hesitant after reading some negative reviews about food selections-perhaps they were recently changed because we were surprised-the beef with puff pastry was great and all of the desserts were fantastic.
Mama Melrose-horrible-small portions and DRY pastas-we'dnever go back
Chef Mickey's-excellent food & atmosphere-very good dinner desserts
Concourse Steakhouse-the best meal we had all week-what a pleasant surprise-it was our only spontaneous meal and was fantastic-the teriyaki wings were delicious as was the chipotle ribeye. Highly recommend this place!
France's bakery-loved the peach and lemon tarts
Food & Wine Festival-the USA's lobster roll was great

Thanks for the reviews. Glad you loved Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace...we love the food and atmosphere at both of these. Sorry you had a poor meal at Mama Melrose...we were there last month and had oen of our best meals of the trips.
