I got to tell you guys- I wasn't feeling the magic of my short trip that I just went on. We stayed at AS Sports in Hoops #2. Now mind you I love this resort but I usually pay extra for a preferred location but this time because of the promotion they were offering we were stuck in the boonies, on the third floor facing the parking lot. This whole weekend starting last thursday, 12/14 there were high school basketball tournaments going on so guess what- the resort was over run with high school kids. They were very quiet and very polite though I have to add, just had a hard time getting out of the lines at the food court. So anyways- on to the parks. People with strollers, especially double wides- please make room for people that are trying to get by. If the park is overcrowded please do not make sudden stops people when there are 20 thousand people behind you- not good!!!!! Also people with small children please let them take a break in the middle of the day to take a nap or just wind down. I can't tell you how many screaming youngsters I seen and especially heard. My son is 13 and it was hard on him and even myself so I can't imagine being dragged from park to park by my parents. Poor kids- it isn't their fault,it is their silly parents'.

Magic Kingdom was so packed on saturday that we left after a hour there so we decided to try again sunday evening with extra magic hours and all. Well wrong we were again. It was really packed then so we left once again.

We didn't eat anywhere spectacular as it was only the two of us this time- we mostly dined at our resort food court where we actually enjoy the food.

I finally took the time to eat at the Ghirardelli fountain shop in Downtown Disney- that was a special treat.

Sorry people I don't mean to sound like a bummer. I love disney but I am thinking that unfortunately I didn't have such a magical time. I think part of the reason is because I am truly not feeling christmas this year.

I think I am all disneyed out right now. Maybe that is what going twice in one year does to a person. I am thinking I am going to give disney a break next year and concentrate on my disney cruise for Easter 2008.

Sorry I have to add- I realize that I usually go in september not december. I guess december is so much busier and I hadn't expected it. I absolutely loved our past september trips- so YES I do have some disney spirit after all....

Thanks for sharing.. wish it had been better for you.
