Hi, we just returned from the World last evening and had a great time. We ate a few places that I thought I would share with you all.
First-O'hana's for Dinner-I have eaten there with the "old" menu and loved it. This time, I thought it was even BETTER! The only thing I thought was yucky was the wontons with dipping sauces. They were pretty tasteless IMO. No one at the table, which included my husband and 7 yo daughter liked them. The salad was divine and I promptly got the recipe.YUMMY!! The potatos were great, the veggies were pretty good, kinda crunchy, the chicken wings-OMG!!! loved them, forgot to ask for that recipe. LOL The meats were juicy, not dry. Now, I don't eat shrimp. I have never cared for them. The sweet and sour shrimp they served-I ate EIGHT of them. I really, really liked them. They did not taste shrimpie-if that makes any sense. Oh, and the dessert, way better than the old pineapple and carmel sauce. OVERALL-will eat there every time!! Loved it!!
Let's see-ate Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast, typical fare, nothing spectacular. We ate O'hana's character breakfast, way better. The food was great, bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, breads. It was great fun with Stitch and friends. I think this has always been one of the better breakfasts. I say try it.
We also ate at the food court at the All Star Movies-food was expensive of course, but tasty. They have a good chef salad, great made to order pastas and cold coffee.
Ate at the Rainforest Cafe@DD-save your money!! YUK!! It was almost the price, less about $4, as our dinner at O'hana's. I had salad, hubby had pasta and daughter kid's meal pasta. NASTY.
We also snacked on pretzels, etc.. in the parks, pretty typical stuff. Thanks! I hope I didn't bore ya too much.
