I would first like to thank the person who announced on Amazon prime day about the cooling cloths. That was a life saver on my trip!
It was SO hot all week, 95 degrees on average. I won't go to Disney in July again! I did have a great time though! This was a solo trip, and I had the park hopper. I decided to try express transportation and loved it! I always felt important like a VIP because a cast member comes to get you and walks you to and from the bus.
Lol! There were never more than 5 people on the bus when I rode. It would really come in handy if you were only there a couple of days.
I stayed at All Star Sports for the first time and loved it! My last four trips were at Pop Century and I just decided to try something different. I was in the Homerun building and it was perfect! The third floor was very quiet. Never shared a bus with the other All Star resorts. I'll stay there again.
I know I'm in the minority when I say I wasn't too impressed with Pandora. I watched Avatar right before my trip and thought it was ok. The Navi river ride was kind of boring to me. Flight of Passage was pretty cool, I must say, but I couldn't get over the people who waited three hours to ride it, standing in the heat! I went back at night to see Pandora and thought it was just ok.
I thought it was dumb that Pizza Rizzo at Hollywood Studios was only open until 4 pm. I wanted to eat dinner there! I enjoyed breakfast at the Garden Grill in Epcot, nachos at Pecos Bill, and fried shrimp and chicken nuggets at Columbia Harbour House in MK.
It was very crowded, especially in the evenings. The mornings were the best, esp. when the parks opened. Thanks to all who post on here. I really enjoy the disboards! Can't wait until I go back!(but not in July!)
