We are just back from our xmas trip and now feeling very festive here's our hi's and lows !

Hi's ....

Managed to get an upgrade to HNY Empire State Club Bfast in the Lounge every morning with the Characters (I felt like we'd won the lottery) :cool1: We met Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip n Dale and Max !! (Haven't met Max before).

Cafe Mickey, got an amazing table (not sure how - think just because we got there early at 6pm) we saw all the characters as soon as they came out. Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey then Tigger!

Saw the Dragon under the castle for the first time (its usually closed off due to weather at xmas)!!

Lovely meals in Blue Lagoon, Cafe Mickey and Rainforest Cafe (Rainforest even accepted our shareholders card)! Amazing hot beef rolls in Earl of Sandwich :thumbsup2

Room was far too hot at HNY (no windows to open), but the hotel moved us to a room with opening windows very quickly and efficiently. Great customer service at HNY.

Crushs Coaster was amazing and the 40min queue only took 30 mins!!

We got to use Salon mickey twice on this visit (we missed it completely last time) !! :)

The children are still just as amazed with the Crocodile outside Rainsforest Cafe !

No delays on the Eurostar :thumbsup2

Lows: (nothing major to do with Disney:thumbsup2)

Why is there such a long queue for Princess Pavillion and Santa Claus - Disney really need to sort this out :confused3

Hubby with a stinking cold.

My daughters snow boots leaked - had to buy emergency wellies/socks :sad2:

My son dropped my new camera on its zoom - Broken forever :sad1:

Two naughty little children this time (sigh) !

Weather was wet (but we were prepared)!

All in all a great trip, but we feel a little DLRP disneyed out now, will prob save for Florida in 2 or 3 years time, the children are 5 & 6 now, I'm thinking 7 & 8 is probably a good age for Florida ??????

Welcome back sounds like your had a lovely stay at the new York. The ques at the pavallion are insane. Mine were 5+6 when we were over in may and we are def a little disneyed out march will def be our last trip.

Welcome back,

Wow I would loved to stay in an empire suite how amazing.

I know I what you mean about the princesses and Santa. It felt like 5-10 minutes would go by and we hasn't even moved a step. Then we would only get 2-3 minutes with Santa the princesses were a lot better but we weren't that impressed with Santa interaction.

I think any age is a good age for WDW I love it there but to make the most of everything and still enjoy the magic side of it I think that sounds like a good age :)?

sounds like a great trip :)
The waiting time for santa is insane
