Just back Highs and lows

stayed in the cheyenne from 8-12th september
Highs
little boy getting fast pass for buzz all week for wearing a costume
dreams..OMG i cried.
hotel was clean and staff were lovely
parks were not too busy longest we had to queue was 20 mins for crush
the disney magic is awesome, i love this place so much
the parks were clean, well kept and the staff (most) were friendly and polite
Planet Hollywood..really good time had by all 8 of us!
cafe mickey breakfast
3 "new@ things for us..casey jr, storybook boats and studio tram tour..all were great!
our baby daughter with an amazing smile everyday, and baby speaking disneyland! lol

Lows
not many..
weather..a bit gutted that it was mainly wet and dull, although it was warm, but i kind of thought we'd have sunshine
toilets in the parks were very smelly, although they were clean and well attended, just whiffy!
staff in Plaza gardens seemed very miserable, and the food wasn't that good
breakfast at the hotel..i have had santa fe before which is exactly the same but it just wasn't up to standard, i know it's a budget hotel, but there was a gloomy feel to the breakfast room, which was a bit disappointing as the themeing is wonderful. also a massive scrum even at 7am.
queuing 20 mins for crush, just about to get on, ride breaking down! not getting to ride .

Love that your DS got a fast pass for Buzz - its those kind of things that make a holiday

The buzz fastpass with the kids dressed up is fantastic,glad someone else has done this we have been going the last 5 years and only discovered this last year, we met friends there last year after telling me it was an urban mith they were soon amazed when both families were usherd straight on the ride .makes you feel great walking up to the fastpass having your little one saluted and greeted with captain buzz,my little boy just wants to go round and round again,have you ever tried it with snow white, peter pan pirates of caribean,i know the first rider on pirates is made captain for the day and can ride fastpass all day

he just rode buzz all day and loved being special!! haven't tried it with the others, but he loved the pirates ride (we all did) so i imagine there will be a jack sparrow costume for him at christmas!! we had a great time, and the lows, were very minor ones that didn't really affect our enjoyment x just trying to decide when to go back as we can't really take them out of school again, but don't want the business of half terms!!

I've not heard about the first rider on Pirates being Captain. Is this the very first rider of the day and can adults be made Captain? Also, how does the fastpass for it work as I didn't think you could get a fastpass for the Pirates ride?

I was there the same time as you but I thought it was busy.

The weather was very disappointing to us, until we got home and discovered how cold it was back home!

My daughters were in costume every day but didn't get them fast pass onto the rides when riding an attraction that matched their costume

i agree with the weather back home!! i found sunday and monday the busiest days, but i really thought it wasn't very busy at all for the other days. really want to go back now!!

I've not heard about the first rider on Pirates being Captain. Is this the very first rider of the day and can adults be made Captain? Also, how does the fastpass for it work as I didn't think you could get a fastpass for the Pirates ride?

hi katiesam no there is no fastpass on pirates but the captain gets to use the exit, would think its kids only as they get a chocolate treasure chest, first in que only

Welcome home and glad you had such a great time. Sorry you didn't get to ride Crush's Coaster (an excuse for a return trip? ) but nice that you got to do and enjoyed Casey jr, Storybooks and Tram Tour.
