i want to start by saying we really had a great time and as a stand alone trip it was very enjoyable, the only problem is we have had some amazing trips in the past and it is hard to not compare them lol.

for me while the christmas season is very beautiful and christmas dreams was a great addition i prefer the atmosphere of the halloween season.
it felt like there were hardly any random characters around. in fact we only bumped into two all week. seeing as my dd loves trying to find characters it was a small bit of a low for us
the queue for santa was too long when we tried to meet him so ended up leaving. after 45 minutes we had barely moved a few inches.
while in cafe mickey we saw an awful waiter berate a family over a spilled drink. i didn't see exactly what had happened to cause his foul mood but there really was no need for it and four other waiters stood around and didn't intervene. while there in june i witnessed the same waiter scream at a family who send a dish back. i have no idea how he is still employed.
my dd getting sick after eating at the plaza gardens. she was sick before bed that night so i cancelled the sunday brunch the next day and i left her sleep it off.

the christmas decorations really are beautiful and im still singing along to the parks music in my head.
my dd having her birthday cake in cafe mickey, she was speechless which isn't like her at all.
meeting some very lovely cm's as characters, ride operators, in shops etc. really the vast majority are wonderful people so it is a shame when a few ruin things. my dd had two cms before the parade sing her happy birthday in english, french and spanish. they tried to get her out on the street to get everyone to sing to her but she was too shy lol.
ariel remembered my dd and asked her why she was speaking french this time when last time she spoke english lol.
my dd spent the week learning french words here and there which did seem appreciated by the cms there. we learned she has a great french accent which confused some characters at times when she greeted them with bonjour or bonsoir lol.
finally trying big thunder mountain. me and my dd are huge wusses. she had wanted to try it and i showed her youtube videos, my uncle assured us it is boring and we would be fine. neither of us liked it and my dd cried when she got off but im still proud we tried it lol.
the mad hatter and queen of hearts coming over to my dd during the parade when she was wearing her queen of hearts dress. she was delighted.
love the new frozen edition of the parade. we haven't seen the film yet but my dd is a huge elsa fan already and she spent a lot of her money on frozen merchandise.
