Just back from a great (hot) week at Disney....here are some dining reviews....

Boma - great service, wide variety of interesting food (nut crusted salmon, several hummus's, prime rib, pork).fabulous desserts. I loved how the desserts were sort of bite-sized so you could sample a few of them

Shula's - fabulous steaks; no complaints. We'll be back there!

Boatwrights - went for breakfast; the place was empty. had the sweet potato hotcakes and they were fabulous. The waitress said it is just buttermilk pancake mix with mashed sweet potato and seasonings added. I'll be trying that at home soon!

San Angel Inn - this has been a favorite of mine for years. Not sure what I like better the food or the setting. Great Margarita's.

Rose and Crown - I've never had a desire to eat here, but I tried it with the idea of snagging a table for illuminations; but once there I decided I wanted to eat INSIDE with the A/C. Had a tasty prime rib and a salad with a nice stilton dressing. The server (Becky) was also one of the nicest servers we ever had. She added a lot to the meal.

Concourse Steakhouse - took the monorail here for a quick lunch while at Magic Kingdom. The restaurant was deserted and for only a few dollars more than we would have paid for fast food in the park, we had a nice sit-down meal. The burger was nice and thick and the fries very fresh. My only complaint was that I ordered it rare and it came out very well done. I understand some places do not like to serve rare meat; but the menu had rare as a selection and this was clearly cooked all the way through. Still tasted okay though.

Whispering Canyon Cafe - had the family skillet. I thought it was a good deal for the $22. The ribs were pretty tasty and I really liked the salad dressing. I still miss their old "spicy BBQ" sauce that they used to have on the tables (and sold for that matter). They now use "Bull's Eye" and it just isn't as good.

Flame Tree BBQ - had lunch here one day. The rib platter was great and the BBQ sauces were good too. This place has lots of nice outdoor seating. Everything I saw looked good.

Maya Grill -had the breakfast buffet on check-out day. I thought it was okay; nothing special. Had the standard items such as scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, pancakes.

Thanks for the reviews!

While I like both the food and the atmosphere of San Angel, I really like the Margaritas! ;)

Thanks for the reviews--you went to some great places!
