Just back, good and bad stuff

I am sure we could all go on and on about our nightmare flights!!
My DH has been traveling via air for about 15 yrs now...on average one trip every 2 weeks. YEA...we got LOTS of frequent flyer miles!! :D :D
The ABSOLUTE worst airline (according to DH) is Southwest! With Delta running a close second.
I could go on about why....but enough of that! ;)
He does say the best is a toss up between American and Continental.
One thing about Continental is that anytime there has been a change they have been really good about calling and asking if it was okay and if there would be a need to change it to something other than what they choose.
Except once.......they supposedly tried to call about a change to our return flight...but we had already left!! So we got to the airport only to hear "Your flight just left!"
Anyway they did give us 3 free flights to make it up!

ANYWAY..... this is a resort board, so to get back to that...

How was your stay at WL???

Did you visit any other resorts while there?

Tell us more!;)

ps...Terk, any time Continental had to cancel one of DH's flights and could not find another on Cont...they ALWAYS checked other airlines for him and transferred the monies right there! :) They have never left him without a flight.

For the past decade+ , and have never experienced any delays or rudeness. We fly direct from LAX to MCO, and have only had one minor baggage mishap on our return flight. We fly first class, and enjoy the service and ammenities. They are rated number one in the industry, and are the "Official Carrier" of WALT DISNEY WORLD! Anyone traveling w/children should request the "mickey ears" crown/hat, some wings and a special kids meal. It's a real treat, and our DD used to love it when she was younger. I'm sorry for all those who have had terrible experiences, sometimes it is the "Airports" & "connecting flight scenarios" which cause problems. Try to reserve "non-stop" flights if at all possible, even if you pay a bit more. It's well-worth the $$ in the long run.:)
