I just returned from a wonderful, relaxing trip to the World. I stayed at YC on CL. I would be happy to answer questions about it if you have any.

What type of view did you have?

How busy was the lounge?

I am looking also for confirmation that the rooms have 2 queens and a daybed... Did yours?

What foods did they have for the evening offerings?

Which H2O products did you have (blue bottles or the new smaller green bottles)

and if you had a really great view, would you please PM me your room number:thumbsup2

Thanks in advance

What type of view did you have?Garden view overlooking the wedding gazebo. It was peaceful but I wouldn't pay extra for this view again. I would rather pay more and get a water view.

How busy was the lounge? That changed daily. AT 7:00 a.m. it wasn't at all busy. By 8 it was busier, and on Monday and Tuesday there was no place left to sit in the lounge by then. Appetizers were served starting at 5. I got there around 5:15 most days and the stampede of people wasn't happening yet. It didn't fill up until about 5:30.

I am looking also for confirmation that the rooms have 2 queens and a daybed... Did yours?Yes, mine did, but I have had rooms there that had two queens and no daybed.

What foods did they have for the evening offerings?Every night there was peanut butter and jelly and rolls, apples and caramel dipping sauce, cheese and crackers, and fresh veggies. The hot foods varied. Those I can remember were chicken skewers, pork pot stickers, sping rolls, crab rangoon, conch fritters, baked brie in pastry.

Which H2O products did you have (blue bottles or the new smaller green bottles)Blue bottles. At arrival there was shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and shower gel. The next day there was also mouthwash.

and if you had a really great view, would you please PM me your room number

Thanks in advance

We decided not to book CL and go for a waterview instead, but I still have a question about YC if you don't mind.

We will be heading to EPCOT for morning EMH and want to either walk to the international gateway or take a boat to the gateway. How long does it take to walk to the gateway? How early do the boats come in the AM?

We are super excited for our 1st stay at an EPCOT resort and want to take advantage of the great location. The boardwalk area looks like fun at night for us and our teens. Have you been and what were your favorite things?

Did you use the laundry facility? As we go in Aug, I always end up doing laundry about 1/2 way thru our trip.

Any other tips or advice would be great :wizard:

thanks!

We just got back from there also so I can answer your question. The laundry room is next to quiet pool. Its about a 10 minute walk to Epcot. My advice would be to request a room near lobby elevators. It will everything more convenient.

We're staying CL at YC in October. DH really wanted GF CL but I held out for YC. Love Epcot during Food and Wine plus afraid of the construction of the DVC at GF.

DH is concerned about the size of the lounge. Did you find it really small?

Was your room on the same floor? Did you request any room location?

Did you have the concierge make any reservations for you?

Thanks for the feedback.

DH is concerned about the size of the lounge. Did you find it really small? The lounge is very small. There is a balcony with a few seats so that's an option if it's not too hot outside. I don't mind taking food back to my own balcony, so the size of the lounge doesn't bother me, but my sister hated not being able to get a seat at busy times.

Was your room on the same floor? Did you request any room location? My room was on the 5th floor, same as the lounge. Other than paying for and receiving a garden view room, I didn't make any requests. I was at the end of the hall that is to your left as you face the CL desks. It was great because I only had a room on one side of me, reducing the risks of noisy neighbors. I was really lucky because I either didn't have neighbors or they were incredibly quiet.

Did you have the concierge make any reservations for you?I made my own ADRs at the 180 day mark, but I did have them make a last minute lunch ADR at Tokyo Dining for us. I asked them to switch my California Grill ADR from Monday to Tuesday if possible, but they were not able to do so. It wasn't a big deal.
