Just back from Yacht concierge!!!

We had the most awesome time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Conciege staff was awesome!!(Especially Trevor and Dane!!! Yacht club Awesome!! Weather Awesome!!!!!!
We arrived on Friday morning our room was ready!! We were upgraded to a WONDERFUL view room 5161!!!!!!!!!!! (they said it was on them because of our "count")
We had some special surprises waiting for us in our room when we returned from MK!! (which was not crowed)
It was our 11 year anniversary and they gave us a cake,anniversary pin and chocolates oh yeah and a signed picture from Mickey and Minnie congratulating us on our anniversary!!!! So to say the least we felt extremely special!!!!!!

Here is a quick overview
Went to MK,Epcot and MGM
Ate at Yachtsman,beaches and cream,capemay,mamamelrose
rented Breathless!! (Very fun)

Oh and guess who else was at the resort when we were there?? LL cool Jay and Destinys child!!!

Wow glad to hear you had such a great time!! Did you get to see much of those celebs? That is really cool.

I was wondering if you could tell me what were the food offerings? I know it's not to make a meal out of, I am just curious to know what they serve. We will be at BWV in Nov. and I can add one night to our stay before or after our BWV ressie. Do you think 1 night would be worth it to do concierge? We wouldn't be going to a park, just enjoying the resort.

Desnik- Hi! Yes I think it would be worth the one night stay if you are planning on using the hotel!!
For breakfest-they had coffee,tea,cranberry juice,apple,orange.milk,sodas
cereal,fruit,danishes,donuts,bagels,toast,english muffins.
snack-goldfish,cheddar popcorn,nachos,pretzels (same drinks)
evening-peanutbutter and jelly,mac and cheese,cheeses and crackers,hummus,veggie platter two hot dishes (change every night) Wine (four types) beer (you just ask for it)
late night desserts and cordials!!

We really enjoyed the lounge!!

as far as the celebs it was a quick look LL was on our floor but I didnt see him but I saw him comming out of the gym!!
And Beyonce was in the front of The yacht on Sunday waiting for a ride. I also think I sawPatty labelle. Im not sure it was her.
You never know ho you will see!! I have seen a star on every visit so far!!!!

Anita46: I plan on a long trip report when we return...I am so excited I could just scream!! We actually leave at 4:45am from our house on Wednesday morning and arrive (hopefully, if all goes well!!) in Orlando at 11am.

I am hoping tnkrbell posts her trip report before tomorrow evening!!! (hint! hint!)

I am not sure what count means but I assume it is how many times you stay either onsite or at a paticular resort!!
This year alone we have stayed onsite7 times!!
So Im assuming that may be the count thing!

Yes the concierge lounge was renovated also! There was allways plenty of seating and there is a little area for little kids to eat and watch tv. yes there are cookies out for afternoon snack and evening desserts!

they probably meant for "counts" meaning they oversold on one catagory room and upgrading people to the next one. The Tom Joyner Reunion was this weekend at MGM, and Ll Cool J, Maze, Lil bowo, and Destiny's child performed for a special party.

I know Trevor and Dane, and agree they are absolutley wonderful! along w/the rest of the staff, can you see why it is becoming impossible for me to stay anywhere else!

I knew about Tom Joyner he was staying next door to us! He had an after party on Sat night it was like 2 am and they were outside on the balcony very loud!
