This was the best family vacation I've ever been on!
This is our family- DH age 36, me age 33, DS age 6 and DD age 3.
We wore our bathing suits onto the ship so our vacation started right away. The Mickey pool was practically empty and the kids jumped right in as dh and I had our first frozen drink by the pool. We got lunch at Pluto's and ate lunch by the pool. After about an hour, our room was ready so we went to see it and were very impressed with the size and cleanliness. We were on the 7th deck in a Cat 10 deluxe inside. I was worried that I wouldn't like being in an inside cabin but it turned out to be the best thing. Our kids slept til 9:00am each morning because of how dark the room was.
We then explored the ship and checked out the Oceaneer's Club. The kids loved it and wanted to stay so Dh hung out there with them while I went to the cabin to shower and change.
DH and I had reservations at Palo's for our 10 yr anniversary and the kids went to the Oceaneer's Club and had a great time.
Friday- We decided to stay on the ship. The kids were in and out of the kid's club depending on the activity so DH and I had a little time to ourselves at the Quiet Cove pool and time with the kids at the Mickey and Goofy pools. Dinner this night was at Triton's. It was pirate night which the kids got a kick out of. They had a great time at the Pirate In the Carribean deck party too.
Saturday- Castawy Cay. This was by far the best day. The kids spent most of the time in Scuttle's Cove while DH and I relaxed on the beach and in the water. We then picked the kids up and DH and DS went snorkeling while DD and I played in the water. Back on the ship to shower and dress for dinner at Animato'rs Palete which was our favorite restaurant(besides palo) Then the kids went back to the kid's club while DH and I went to Signals for a drink (or 2, or 3) Then we picked the kids up to go see Disney dreams which we all enjoyed.
My only complaint was that it was way too short. Next time we are going on a 7 night cruise.

Glad to hear that you all had a good time!
We were also on this trip!
Our son also thoroughly enjoyed the Oceaneer Club. :)
I agree, this trip was way too short! ;)

Sounds like you had a great time....we agree with the 3 days are not enough.....we are trying 4 days this year!!!!

Thank you for your review, We are planning a 4 day cruise with myself dh35 ds4 dd4 (twins) were you on the early seating or the late one? Would your kids eat dinner and then go to the club or what exactly was your schedual? thanks in advance

We were scheduled to have the late seating but I talked to the dining room head waiter and explained that our kids could not possibly eat that late so he said he would try his best to switch us. The first night our dc's had room service and we went to Palo's At about 4:30pm the second day the head server called our room and said he found room for us in the earlier seating but in a different roation than we were originally on. We were so happy to be able to all eat together as a family at a decent hour.
We had the 6:00pm dining time and we tend to eat fast with our kids so we were done by 7:15pm which is when there were fun activites scheduled in the Oceaneer's club for our kids. So both nights the kids ate and went to the club and DH and I ate and went for some drinks. It turned out perfect.
Anymore questions??
Lynn

Sounds like you had a great trip. Can you tell me a bit more about the oceaneer club? How is the check in process? Do they have someone at the door to make sure the kids don't leave without the parents? Any info you can give is appreciated.

We just got off the Wonder yesterday. Our DS5 stayed in the Oceaneer Club a lot of the time- and loved it! We registered him once we got onto the ship, and then you fill out a form telling them who is allowed to check them in and out. Before you enter the Oceaneer Club, you have to show your card and tell them your stateroom number. When checking them out, you have to do the same, but you will have to tell them your password. (When you fill out the registration form, you choose a password for your family to remember.) Hope that helps!

Thanks, that does help. I have one of those mischievious little rugrats. I'm just a bit nervous about her trying to sneak out when no one is looking.

I don't think that she can- they have little doors or gate- whatever you want to call them! They are locked until one of the CM behind the desk pushes a button- and then it opens- but still then- you have to push on it really hard. I think she'll be fine. ;)

Lynn--we were there too! In fact, you might have even seen us! My kids were the very first ones to go down the Mickey Slide, and my husband was the very first adult to get booted off of it! :rotfl2: We had such a wonderful time and rebooked a four day for next May! I've found a new love!!! We did the parks afterwards and realized just how much we loved the cruise! I haven't written a trip report yet--still trying to get caught up on laundry and spending every evening at the ball park. I hope to get one written soon though!
