Just back from WL 12/16 - 12/21....

This was our first stay at WL and we absolutely LOVED it. The holiday decorations were so beautiful and the whole feel of the lodge was what we were wanting for this time off year!! We had room 5017 courtyard view looking out over the pool and the waterfall. We requested a frig and it was delivered in 10 minutes. Called for an extra pillow, got it in 5 minutes. We had NO complaints about anything at WL. We met Ranger Stan, who was a pleasure, ate at Whispering Canyon Cafe and enjoyed it, just roamed around the lodge and grounds enjoying all there is to see....We would love to stay here again during the summer and spend more time at the resort enjoying it!!

It sounds great. Any time of year is a good time to be at WL but Christmas time just seems like it would be more magical.

Sounds great. I'm trying to decide between WL and Beach Club for Christmas next year. Something about WL just pulls me that way!

We were almost your neighbor for a few nights. We were in room 5034 from Dec. 12-19. This is a woodsview room, which had a great view of the castle and fireworks at the MK.

Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! You bring back memories for me....................just DH and me, with some hot choc., sitting in one of those cozy spots on the fourth(?) floor, I believe. We sat and talked, listened to the Christmas music surrounded by all those wonderful decorations..............mmmmmmmm........thanks.

I do love the lodge, we were there this January, but I miss the smell of years ago!! We'll be at pop this January, can't wait!!!

Our room(5034) had two queens. The room was very near the elevator that goes close to the RF. The only problem with the room was it was near the loading dock, but the noise didn't bother us. Rooms 5038 and higher would get you away from the loading dock, but I'm not sure the view of the castle would be as good. There was an opening in the trees which made the castle view unobstructed from 5034.
