Just got back from 7 nites at CSR. The planning and budget that I had done worked great. I will be glad to help/and or answer any questions.

how were the crowds? how much did you spend on food? did you have vouchers? what was the best part? what did you eat? did you have a good time? what did you forget? what didn't you have time to do?

:p well you asked LOLOLOL

We had a great time. Even DH, who didn't understand why I budgeted so much and why we had to stay for an entire week quickly understood after being there a few days. And now he's even talking about going a next time when our DS who is only 1 now will be old enough to go. We left him at grandparents this trip.

The crowds were not nearly as bad as I was expecting. We drove our car to the parks that offered early entry and parked within the first 3 rows each time. The heat was not bad until noonish. We would go back to the hotel around 1:30, eat lunch and play in the pool in the afternoon, eat supper and then do more in the evenings. That kept DD who is 6, from getting too tired or hot.

We didn't have vouchers. We ate 2 breakfast at the food court, 1 character breakfast at Chef Mickey's(which was fantastically fun), icecream and/or popcorn in the parks for a snack( I also took bottled water and crackers), sandwiches in the room for lunch(we wented a fridge-10.65 per day), 1 character dinner at Grand Floridian 1900's Park Fare with Cinderella, 1 dinner at Whispering Canyon, McDonald's once, Pizza Hut delivery once, and the other dinners at the food court. All of this cost us $430. This includes buying a refill mug at the food court and getting free refills.

I didn't forget anything- can you believe it? These boards really helped or I am sure I would have gotten down there without something that I needed. I bought a 12pack of water here at home plus 5 gallons of water. I refilled the bottles each day, frozed 2 overnight to take to the parks. I wrapped them in a handtowel, this helped keep them frozen until we were ready to drink them when the unfrozen ones were drank.
