Pins!!!

I got myself the Pooh started kit while my sister got the classic Mickey starter, we traded between ourselves (so we each had four different pins.) Then I bought an extra four pins. I don't think I'll ever get into the trading part (I like the ones I bought too much) but I might go broke buying pins!!!

It's a good thing I didn't get into it until the day before we left, otherwise I would have really gotten into trouble!!
Anyone else a pin collector/trader?

BTW, we had a great (albeit tiring) trip...five days is not enough, you need at least six so you can rest. Trust my feet and legs, they know!!

Welcome back, glad to hear you had a great trip! I'm a reformed pin addict but everytime we walk past the store I hear them calling my name. ;)

I'm glad you had a fun trip.

When my daughter was 8, we bought a lanyard and a starter set of pins. We spent an afternoon walking around Epcot trading pins with the CMs in all the different countries. It was one of my favorite days at WDW! My daughter is pretty shy around strangers, and she never would have approached the CMs if it had not been for pin trading. We had a great time visiting with all the CMs and we learned a lot about their native countries.

Sadly, on our last visit, my daughter lost interest in pin trading. I miss it!

I help my DD with her collection :thumbsup2 . We bought her her first lanyard when she was 3 years old. She has been trading pins w/ cast members every year since. She now has pins that she is allowed to trade and pins that she keeps home for herself. The pins that she keeps home are the ones I buy her everytime she trys a new ride (the pin is the one representing the ride she was on) and special ones a cast member gives that are not available to the public.

This year my 2nd DD will be 3 years old and we are going to buy her her first lanyard. It will be alot of fun starting her with her new collection :goodvibes .

Pin collecting is addicting! I get ones I like and plan on keeping. I won't buy one for a ride or attraction unless I've "been there, done that". So far I have 3 full lanyards. The pins are so attractive and well made, I wish I knew of a nicer way to display them. What does everyone else do?
