VWL 2 BR dedicated woods view-requsted pool but no luck, room was very well kept, boats and buses very short waits. Roaring forks was nice.
Pools in general were always around 91 degrees (OKW/VWL/BWV/SAB) never got over to SSR.
Checked into BCV at 6:30AM Sunday-had requested pool view at 11 months but all they had was woods view. I asked if EPCOT view was available since it is no longer a request. She said nothing was available and I asked if it was room ready (we would be glad to wait). She said only 3 ded 2BR's were checking out all day, 1 was a woods view, 1 a courtyard and 1 a canal. I said I will take the canal view. Turned out to be a pool view and canal view split evenly. Not super happy she gave me woods view when a pool view was available but I guess you need to ask.
Room was 368-very good condition (took pics of each room), no carpet stains, no butts on the deck, freezer froze, fridge cooled, light bulbs illuminated, remotes worked, everything was clean, even looked for the dreaded chipped furniture but only noticed minimal wear. The hall carpet did show quite a bit of wear and discolor-a shame because they are a great design.
Rained once all 9 days-never have seen that in August before, pretty hot though.
DP-seemed like great deal and had very good food and location really helped hit these right on time (lots of EPCOT and BW stuff). Kept wondering why the wait staff kept pushing all the expensive app's/entree/deserts (even if you cant eat them) until it sunk in they get 18% of everything you order. Its been a while since I left a $60 tip.
Evening late hours is a joke, we finally did the other parks those nights so we could get more done. Great movie ride was 40 minutes at 12:30 AM as an example.
A great trip, oh yea the full moon didn't hurt either.
Wish I was still siting here.
