We just returned from a 5 night Thanksgiving stay at Vero Beach. It was great. Everything was up and running. (They completed the greenhouse room at Shutters while we were there) The beach suffered a great deal of erosion and the old Boardwalk is down, but the beach has a new access. The old dunes are gone and the beach gently slopes up to the resort. I will try and post a photo soon. The Green Cabin somehow survived. The only obvious damage still observable is the landscaping. Many of the trees are leaning and missing leaves. All in all, however, they have recovered quite nicely and anyone planning a trip in the near future has nothing to worry about. Enjoy!
