We stayed for 3 nights in the Shearaton on the Canadian side. It was a nice stay. We did al the must sees, the Maid of the Mist, jouney behind the Falls, the Whirlpool Walk, The Butterfly consevatory, the Botanical Gardens, toured the Hydroeleletric power plant on the Canadian side, played a round of golf on a real nice course adjacent to the Botanical Gardnes, overlooking the Niagara Gorge, snuck about 10 real Cuban cigars across the USA border for my own use..lol. We stayed on the 27th floor overlooking the Horseshoe Falls.. just a breathtaking view. saw fireworks nightly from our room.. We had a great time.. just enjoying nature's gifts. A perfect compliment to our July WDw vacation. The Canadian dollar is worth 67 cents/ US dollar.. got money out of a Canadian ATM, my bank balance went up a third...too bad I could not have that as a souvinier.....lol... So hello everyone glad to be back.

I'm leaving for the Falls on the 19th. Cannot wait. My husband 2 daughters and I have never seen the falls so we are really excited. We are going with my brother and his wife (from CA) and my parents (who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary)If you can give me any other info pass it along.
Thanks

Glad you enjoyed your stay in the Falls. We live very nearby, but still love them so much.:D

princess.. you can save some bucks if you buy the discount tickets from the Niagara Park Commision ( Canadian Side) We did not even go on the USA side. You can buy them at any of the Niagara Parks sponsored tourist area. You get free admssions to the Maid of the mist journey behind the Falls, the wWhirlpool walk, the Butterfly conservatory.. plus discountson ticket to t other stuff on the canadian Side. At thse places you can get a "Priority Pass" it is lke a fast pass it is a time stamp.. just get on line before you go in. There Firworks everynight at 10 pm right across the American Falls , over the NiagaRA rIVER REAL Good display btw. Very tourst freindly place. Parking is 12 bucks in the Tabletop, Victoria, parking area (Maid of the Mist, Journey behind the Falls. and to walk right next to the fence on the path that goes say from thr Rainbow Bridge to the Horshoe Falls. otherwise you have to walk uphill on the way back to your car for like a 1/4 mile if you you parked at your hotel/ resturant on atop the Escarpment. The tourst area .. to be is Clifton Hill the Casino is there, plus all the touristy stuff is a a hoot if you like that kind of stuff.. resturants , night clubs. neon lights, t- shirts places , wax museums, indoor games etc. . You can get there my going up to Muarry street.. and the name of the street is Victoria ave. There is a lot more to do on the Canadian side.

Welcome back...
Are we gonna see some pics??
I LOVED Niagara Falls..:)

Glo:
Do you know where you got AAA pkg. thingie? Was it at local AAA before you left or something you got once in Canada? I love visting the falls but need to stay out of the Hershey store!!!

The package where you get 4 reduced price admissions plus discounts and other popular ones can be bought right at the Niagara Parks System attractions.. They give you a larnyard to hold them. I know the Sheraton we stayed at offered them and we got them at check in. BTW there packages at the Sheaton in the Fallsview district started at 335.00 US dollars which included the tickets, for two Adults and 2 kids under 12, two breakfeast buffets, and one dinner buffet in their gorgeous dining room overlooking the Horseshoe falls. The rooms in this catergories are nice. But we splurged and got a extra nite and decided to take the "Executive Room" on the upper floors 25-30 for a breathless view of the Niagara Gorge, the American Falls, and the Horseshoe Falls.. We could see Lake Erie in the Distance. This costs 650.00 for the 3 nites, the meals were great. We thought it was worth it.

Has anyone stayed at the Hampton Inn on Victoria Avenue? That is where my reservations are at and now I am wondering???
