Some observations - I will post a report later...
There were smokers everywhere! Not the turkey leg smokers,either... There are specific smoking areas at IOA/US - mostly empty, since people walked around the park smoking, they didn't need the nice covered picnic tables,etc! I didn't notice this problem at SW !
The lines were SO long at US/IOA - we stayed at the HRH, which gave us FOTL access - it was so worth it... until we got back to the hotel, then we realized it's not really a 4*hotel! I was under the impression that the Express passes you purchase are limited, and wouldn't have necessarily been available - or we would have bought those and stayed off premise. We aren't those theme park commandeers - we got there around 11 or so, stayed until nearly closing on Monday and Tuesday, Wedesday, we went back and did everything we either didn't get to do or wanted to do again.
HRH was very disappointing - at Club Level and rack rates for the week before Easter - we won't be back. Worn, sticky (I accidentally went out without my shoes one day - gross!) hallway carpet, the staff was super nice if you initiated a conversation, but otherwise you weren't acknowledged... oh, and we came back to valet parking one night - to a fire engine and rescue which had been called for a guest - the valet had us not pull up to the normal place - which was fine, expected, but then another valet was bringing a car for someone, came up behind us, flashed his lights and horn then sped around us to get the car to the customer! We made sure he didn't drive OUR car! The pool staff was awesome.
SW - super busy on a Thursday! We did get the pass which lets you return all year for free - I think we'll be able to use it 2x more this year!
We gave our park passes and hotel keys to my BIL and family for the day we left - they enjoyed the parks on us!
