Cast me age 42 (the planner), DH 42 (his job was to drive and pay! hehe), DS age 9, DM age 73, sis age 35, my two nieces ages 5 and 8!

We had a great time--went to Disney Studios on Monday, Epcot on Tuesday, BB Wednesday morning, then to MK around 5:30 and stayed for EMH evening. Thursday back to MK, Friday was animal kingdom.

Disney studios----DH, sis, DS and oldest niece did TOT--I don't like drops so I sat this one out. Then onto to Rock "N roller coaster--we all LOVED it! Later I decided to try TOT and I liked it better than I thought I would. The back lot tour was such a HUGE waste of time!!!! Unless you are really, really, really, (and I mean REALLY) into movies skip this ride, it takes too long and I thought it was boring. We stayed and watched Fantasmic and we all were amazed by this show! Do NOT miss this show. We got in line at 7:50 and got great seats--about seven rows up right smack in the middle isle! :Pinkbounc

Epcot---Rode TT first, we all loved it even my Mom! After reading about some reviews about Mission space I decided to skip this one too, but after my DH, Sis, DS and DN came back and loved it and no one felt quesey or dizzy I decided to try it and OMG, I LOVED it and I didn't feel bad at all! I wanted to do it again but we didn't have time. :( I really encourage you to ride this, it was amazing. The kids really loved the viking boat ride at Norway, they had to do this twice! Also loved Journey into your Imagination, and The energy ride with Ellen (can't remember the name of it now  ), although we are Christians and don't believe in the big bang theory--other than that we really enjoyed the ride.

BB---it was okay, although I'll admit I'm not much of a water person. We rode the family raft ride which was a blast! A couple of other raft rides which were fun, played in the wave pool which was fun especially for the kids, also did the lazy river which was nice but it was very crowded. I wouldn't do BB again, I wished we had just stayed at the pool at our resort (PC) and relaxed that morning.

MK---got there around 5:00 for our PS at CP ate dinner then went to POC--walked right on, my five year old niece did not like it at all she was scared, same thing with HM. We then did Swiss family tree house which the kids and my mom enjoyed---saw a woman standing there giving out the wrist bands for EMH that night so we got ours. The first hour of EMH was a zoo!!! Right after the fireworks we headed to Peter Pan and had to wait for 30 minutes to ride it!!! What I couldn't understand was the amount of parents carrying sleeping toddlers and then waking them up when they got on the ride. Poor kids! They were exhausted! I don't understand that at all. The longer the night went the less crowds there were though. We left at 11:15. Oh yes, one more thing we did the Jungle cruise that night and I'm sorry but this is getting old, I think they need to do something about it, after waiting for almost 15 minutes and then the ride is several minutes as well I really felt I wasted my time.

MK again on Thursday, we got there early and did most of the rides without much of a wait, we did use a couple of fast passes though. We left around 6:00 that evening we were SO tired.

Friday ---AK, well we weren't impressed at all and we are all animal lovers, the safari was nice and we saw several animals, but we've been to some great zoos in our life, so although I loved the theming it still seemed just like an elebrate zoo to me. I wish Dinosaur wasn't down, because I'm sure we would have loved that ride. We rode PW, it was just okay---15 minute wait for a very short ride. Kali river rapids was fun but WAY too short. In short I'm not sorry I went to AK, but I doubt that we'd ever go back. I'd skip AK for Universal Studios anyday.

Highlights of our trip was first and foremost Fantasmic wonderful and unbelieveable---after seeing it we were 'almost' disappointed in Wishes and Illuminations, they were good, but can't compare to Fantasmic.

The other highlights were Mission Space, Rock 'N Roller coast and our old favorites space moutain and splash mountain.

All in all a great trip, with moderate crowds (Epcot seemed to be the less crowded of them all).

If you have any questions I'd be happy to answer them.

Welcome home, Meganbear! I've watched you plan your WDW trip here on the boards over the past several months, so I'm very happy to hear you had a great time!

Thank you! And I'm embarrassed that I didn't thank everyone for your help! Without this board I know my trip wouldn't have been nearly as wonderful as it was!

Thanks to everyone that answered my hundreds of questions! ::yes::

Sounds like a trip well planned:D Welcome back:earsboy:

Glad you had a great trip!Sorry to hear about AK.I love AK.Did you try Festival Of The Lion King,It's Tough To Be A Bug,and Flights Of Wonder? These are great attractions.Did you see DEVINE and walk the trails in Africa and Asia?I am sorry about Dinosaur;some people think it is the best attraction in AK.I hope you will give AK another chance, especially when Expedition Everest opens.:D

but after my DH, Sis, DS and DN came back and loved it and no one felt quesey or dizzy I decided to try it and OMG, I LOVED it and I didn't feel bad at all! I wanted to do it again but we didn't have time.

Grrrrr.....I've planned this OUT of our trip for everyone but now I'm not so sure for my 6-year old. I'd like to try it too but wasn't so sure. Man, it's so easy to plan w/o having to account for Mission:Space but I don't want to miss it either if we'd like it.

Decisions, decisions...what to do (pacing the floor - back-n-forth). This really puts a kink in the chain. That's it....I've got to put it back in the plan, I can't travel all that way not to at least try it, can I?:D

Thanks for the great report - I really like reports like this even though it schmucks things up! :teeth:

Thank you for sharing your report,I enjoyed reading it and the good information it contained. We share your feelings on Universe of Energy.::yes:: :wave2:

Yes, yes, yes please try Mission space! But I'm not so sure I'd put a 6 year old on it---it is pretty intense. But my 8 year old niece and my nine yr old son loved it!

And thanks for reminding me, I did forget to mention that we got to see Festival of the Lion King and Tough to be a Bug and we LOVED them, I'd hate to talk someone out of going to AK, because everyone is different, there were certainly things about AK that we did like, but just thought there wasn't quite enough to pay for the admission to the park, of course it was our last day and we were really tired so that might have had something to do with it. And no we didn't get to see DeVine or Flights of wonder. :(.

welcome Back. Glad to hear you had a great trip. I do agree with you fully on Fantasmic being an awesome attraction
