I just got back from the Poly yesterday. We were there 9 days and had a great time. Our room was 3rd floor Samoa facing the quiet pool. I wanted facing the volcano pool but they didn't have it. The view was of 3 palm trees and that was it! LOL! We didn't sit out on the balcony this trip at all because we had no view. No biggie though. The room was always clean and that's what mattered. We requested turn down service for the first time because we thought it would be nice to come back to the room to fresh towels and a bed turned down. Out of 8 nights this only happened once completely. One night we had fresh towels, emptied trash and bads fixed. Three nights nothing was done. The other four nights consisted of turning down the beds and nothing more. Very spotty for turndown service. We won't be requesting it again. The pool was great and not crowded at all. We had NO rain the entire trip! Temps were in the mid 80s. We ate at Ohana, our favorite restaurant, and was disapointed this time. The firepit was being rehabbed so all the food came from Kona's. It was far from the food cooked over a grill. We did go back and give Kona's another chance but only for lunch. It was very good though we only had burgers and those little crabcakes. No room for dessert that time! We finally got to see La Nouba and it was the best show. The 5 y/o DD was mesmorized the entire time. What a great show that is! It is worth the cost. All and all we cannot wait to get back to the Poly. This was the last year that we will go to WDW twice a year. Since DD started kindergarten we are cutting the trips back to just in October. I am really going to miss those wonderfully smelling flowers in May when we usually do our second trip though. We will be back in October again. I had requested a fridge which was brought to our room a little after check in. There was no charge for it although I have yet to be charged for a fridge at the Poly anyway. Any questions?

We never got our fridge either. Check in was delayed because they cleaned our carpet. Manager paid for our dinner though. Really nice guy. We ate Ohana on Friday, fire pit was up and running then. Sorry for you though. We were at WL the first part of our trip. That pool has a great slide for little ones. It comes in in less than 4 feet of water. The lifeguard at the volcano pool recommended a safety vest for my DD7, said that the current was a bit strong. Unfortunately, by the time we got checked in on Friday it was time to eat and go to the party. Then the pool was off limits on Saturday. Oh well, maybe next time.
