Well, it's actually been almost a week since we got back and now I'm trying to get my trip report together. But, the mornings are usually when I have time and my stupid profession is getting in the way.
I just wanted to drop in and say hello and tell you we had a great trip for our first time at the Fort. For now, here are the highlights.
-We were granted our request for the 2100 loop...cabin 2109.
-Got a golf cart from Kenny. He was absolutely outstanding.
-We brought 2-1/2 suitcases loaded with non-perishable food and placed and order with Garden Grocer for the rest.
-We had a standoff with a few harmless bugs, but no bed bugs...yay.
-We had 6 park days with no water parks and two full rest days.
-There were two days when rain severely impacted what we were doing and 3 other days where things closed temporarily due to lightning.
That's all I got for now but will be sure to do a full report soon. In the meantime, questions or comments are welcome.
