Just back from the Dream 4-night Dec 5-9 - quick info for anyone interested. Just DW and I traveling this time - celebrating her birthday and our 5-year anniversary (married on Dream in 2011).

Cabin 9057 - just forward of midship elevator lobby/stairs. inside stateroom - very nice for just the two of us. Enjoyed the magic porthole! Stateroom was very clean the entire cruise.

Castaway Club gift - the tote bag with burlap accent that others have mentioned.

Castaway Club reception - was on morning of sea day. Great time - Capt. Henry discussed the two new ships currently planned for 2021 and 2023 but didn't have a lot of details other than some high-level speculation.

Cruise Director - Trent, Assistant Cruise Director Sean

Dining - Rotation ERRA - had Palo reservation for 4th night (Animator's) - was able to switch it to 3rd night (Pirate Night). Food was wonderful as always at all three restaurants and Palo was amazing again. Our serving team was outstanding - Head Server was Kerry, Assistant Server was Suardana, and Server was Onica. Can't say enough about them - took great care of us and Onica really made it a cruise to remember - she was so full of personality and really made dining fun.

Gingerbread House - we signed up for this as soon as we got on board the first day at Guest Services. one ticket needed per stateroom. We went to a session on Nassau day. It was a premade kit and the pastry chef led the instruction part. It was not as "aromatic" as I had hoped but we had a good time doing it and it did lend a nice holiday flair in the stateroom.

Merry time Cruise - tree lighting the first night in the atrium was really nice, Santa appeared on Tuesday night in atrium (with snow courtesy of Elsa and Anna). Characters were in winter/Christmas outfits. Hot chocolate and cookies were available on the afternoon/evening of Castaway Cay day and Sea day.

Movies - Moana, Dr. Strange, Pete's Dragon

Ports - Nassau was...well, Nassau. Castaway Cay was great - water was definitely cooler than normal. Started out cloudy and overcast then sun came out. Food was very good - seems to be getting better from what I remember of past cruises (this was my eighth).

Princess Greeting - morning of Nassau day. We did this because we wanted the princesses to help with the gender reveal for our third child arriving in May. They were all very gracious and had no problem with us holding the announcement sign for the photos. We had Belle, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Cinderella. Saw Belle and Rapunzel again during the cruise and they were the best I have seen.

Weather - was very nice except for sea day - we kept trying to avoid the rain but had mostly overcast skies and some raindrops. Found some sunshine in the afternoon.

That's it in a nutshell - happy to answer any questions!

Sounds like you had a great cruise! Cute idea for the gender reveal - congrats!

Oh we had Onica when we were on the Dream back in August. She was great! My 6 year old was coloring one night and it wasn't until too late we noticed she did it on the white cloth tablecloth. When we told her not to do that, she cried. Onica came over and scolded us for making her upset and joined her with other crayons and colored more on the tablecloth. She was awesome!

Sounds like a great cruise!

Sounds like a great cruise!

We are sailing the Dream for the first time next year after two Fantasy cruises and are looking forward to a new ship. Did you do any excursions in Nassau? We are thinking about Blue Lagoon.
