I was able to take advantage of the Swan's $139 AP rate this past week. We were given (part of AP deal) an upgraded King Room with a balcony and water view. We were at Swan last weekend (our anniversarry) and really enjoyed the Hotel, staff and dining. We ate at Palio's on our anniversarry (9/13) and had an incredible meal!
I was fortunate to be in process of collecting data for a potential conference to be held at Swan next August and in my discussions with the sales rep I mentioned we would be at Swan for our anniversarry. We ended up with a bottle of champagne and a dozen chocolate covered strawberries in room and had our wine selection and appertizers paid for at dinner. The Swan staff was very attentive (at least as nice as WDW staff if not better) and the stay was quite enjoyable.
We certainly will add the Swan to our "A" list of WDW resorts! Any lack of Disney theming was made up by attentive staff and high quality ammentities.
