Just Back from Surfside Inn, Lake George

What a fabulous time we had!!!

Thanx so much for all the great suggestions -

First of all the hotel was great - our room was poolside and you can see the lake! Very friendly staff and guests. only downside was they did not have any rowboats for my husband to fish on!

We did the Haunted Mansion/Frankenstein house/Alien Escape - both my boys loved them!

We did the Tubby Tubes - think this was the highlight for all of us!

We went to see the Rodeo, went to a Drive-in Movie - Arcades, Mini -golf etc etc!

The weather was Great! All the restaurants we ate at outside!

hit the outlets for a bit on the way home!

I loved their Ceasar Salad!

My son loved the salad bar as well - they got a kick out of the "cold" plates

Glad you had a great time! I've been going there since I was a baby w/my family and my cousins!!! Love the Log Jam! I will have to check out the Surfside as we might be heading up that way for next year's vacation. We ususally stay all the way on the east side of the lake and not around the village area, but who knows, maybe we'll try something new! BTW this is the BEST time of the summer to go to LG!

I loved staying right in town. We did not have to use the car much at all - it was nice to just walk into town!

The weather was Great - during the day in the sun it was nice and warm in the evening you could wear shorts w/a sweatshirt!
