Just back from SSR

We got home from a quick trip last night. We stayed in a studio in Congress Park and I have to say I love SSR more each visit. It was so quiet. Our room was immaculate. The dresser had 3 broken draw pulls and I did mention it, but aside from that our room was in perfect shape. I will post more when I get a chance.

Our family had their first SSR stay last week, and they all enjoyed the main pool and nearness to DTD. I have to save our SSR points to book a treehouse for a longer stay before our next DCL cruise. That's 21 months away!

We stayed in Congress Park at SSR Nov. 7-12 and also loved it. We were in the building closest to DTD. We rented points - as we've done the last dozen or so trips - but this time we loved it so much that we decided to take the plunge. We made an offer on an SSR resale that was accepted yesterday. Now just waiting for ROFR and we'll be official!

We will be staying at SSR for our first DVC owners trip in January. Treating my two sisters and am already excited. Nothing like (another) first at Disney.

My wife and I had our first stay at our Home resort last December. We loved it. We will be going with our grown children in March and hope they love it as much as we do.
