Just Back from SSR

I love the resort more each time we go! Finally ate at Artist Palette and swam at the main pool! Crowds at the Food and Wine fest last Sat. were crazy.We used wegoshop 2X during our week and Marge was great and right on time! We had a great trip overall and I will write more when I get a chance, in the meantime any ?s.

Is the Artist Palette a place that a 6 and 9 year old would enjoy eating at. I haven't really looked into it yet. We will be at SSR next October and would like to start planning meal ideas.

Yes, it's essentially a cafeteria style food court with limited selections. Not a bad place to eat, simply not many choices.

We were traveling with a 5 and 8 year old. They ate the chicken nuggets and mini hot dogs. They had a choice of side dishes- mac& cheese, grapes, applesauce and some other things, we also ate breakfast there as well mickey waffles,eggs etc. Our niece and nephew are very picky and did ok here.They enjoyed being able to draw on the easels and hang their pictures up. There isn't alot of choice but we enjoyed the grilled veggie flat breads and chicken caesar salad.

Glad you had a good time. we will going "home" on 12/3 to SSR for the 1st time. Do you think the new carousel section will be open then? we are leaning towrad congress park right now. Thnaks, Bob

Remember, you can lean any place you want. Request are just that, requests. Nothing is guaranteed. Most of SSR is a good location. Lots of great views from most sections. Really you can't go wrong.

No, the Carousel section will not open until this Spring.
