Well just back from our trip. We took our daughter for the first time. She is 9 mo. old. We took the whole family 2 sets of grandparents and SIL and boyfriend. We had a 1 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. They keep us close by in the Paddocks section. The weather was great!! It was my parents first time and they were not believers!!!! Sunday night dinner at the Turf Club --- EXECLLENT--- Well all the Magic started on Monday, SIL and boyfriend were set up to go to Epcot for the day and CP with dinner in Japan. All set up by me and my wife. Myself and parents played 18 at Magnolia that day, the course was in great shape. Inlaws, wife and daughter hung out at DTD. Boyfriend proposed durning the fireworks and the pixie dust was spread.
We had a gathering back in my room for a toast and gifts that night. Tuesday woke up with a hangover but shook it off with a cold one at Osprey Ridge with BIL-to-be and Father. Great course!!!! Wife and Mother went to SPA and had the Mani -Pedi and Par wax treatments. My wife and Mother loved it. Said they were treated like Queens. We all went to MVMCP tues night and my father caught some of the magic but not all of it. The fireworks blew him away. He could not believe they did this everynight. Then he saw the Holiday firework show just a few hours later that blew his mind. My daughter loved the parade and the fireworks it was great to see her smile. My wife fell in love with Disney her first trip a couple of years ago and this is when we bought into DVC. And it was worth every dollar I have spent to see that my daughter light up like that and I cannot wait till she gets older.
Well I think Wed top the cake for the whole Family we went to Chef Mickeys breakfast. That is when the Magic hit my Mother and Father in the face. My DD went nuts, She was smiling and talking (as best that she can) when Mickey, Minnie, Donald , Pluto came by and when Goofy came by she wanted him to hold her she kept putting her arms out to hug him it was truely magical!!!!!
Resort hoped after that for holiday Decorations. At GF my Mother told the Head Landscaper that his roses were just beatiful , so Art cut her one and gave it to her and spoke alittle about the roses and how he keeps them up it made my Mothers day!! Wed night went back to SSR and cooked out at the pool next to our rooms for an end to a perfect day. Thursday was at MGM for Rides and Lights. Dinner at Mamma Melrose OUTSTANDING Sam was our waiter and made the dinner experience wonderful. It was 8 people and an infant for dinner and it was wonderful despite the reviews that I have read. Osbourne Lights topped the cake for my Mother and Daughter. Mom was stunned and my Daughter was amazed. At the end of the night it brought a tear to my Mothers eyes and she told me that she knew why my Wife and I love coming to DISNEY!!!! Well cant wait till the next trip I already miss it.
have a wonderful Xmas
