Wow - let me just say, what a crowd! Geez, I missed the thread that said FLORIDA was on spring break last week !!!
My thoughts on POR :
HUGE - lots of walking - too much actually
Food Court - food choices & food quality better than the values - but seemed small for the # of people at the resort. Always crowded, service was minimal at best. Drink & condiment machines had lots of issues on several occassions.
Main pool seemed small for size of resort - but quiet pools were nice
TV stopped working, they replaced it, still didn't work, not sure what they finally did to correct it since we were out of the room when they returned.
Glasses in the room were dirty - I expected that from another post.
I wasn't impressed or really unhappy with the cleanliness of the room, just ok.
Refrigerator finally cooled our drinks after the tv repairman "adjusted" it while replacing the tv. I didn't want it to freeze anything, just keep milk at a safe temp.
Did I mention the walking???
Buses - no issues here...timely and we had a seat 95% of the time - the picking up at 3 other stops was annoying, but we got used to it, and adjusted our schedule accordingly.
Check in was a long wait - but I was happy when they changed me from the AB rooms to a mansion room...and they tried the "we upgraded you" to a waterview - ok that is really my only complaint, that is a crock....so what I had a fountain in front of the building...surely not worth paying more for....
Overall, it's ok, but I don't think I'll stay here again. I'm booked for POFQ in October..and I dare them to tell me they need to move me to POR as I've heard others talk about...I won't go!!!
