I can't say enough good things about our trip!! I was so excited while planning this trip, and it was wonderful. I have to say though that now that we are home I am a bit grouchy. I've had a couple people call to try to plan things thru the week and next weekend.

I want to yell.....I JUST GOT BACK FROM THE DISNEY MAGIC....LEAVE ME ALONE FOR A LITTLE WHILE!!!

I am a little down in the dumps because I didn't want to go home...and just a little sad. Has anyone else felt like this?? :guilty:

We had such a good time, and thank you all for the help you gave me.

I always get really sad when I leave because I love it so much! Plus I can never be sure if and when I am ever going to get to go back, so that makes me sad too! I understand. I always want to relieve everything as long as possible! :guilty:

Post Vacation Stress Disorder. I get it everytime. The one thing that helps is planning another vacation. :goodvibes I start planning the next vacation the night before we leave. That way when we pull out of the parking lot it's "See you real soon!" not goodbye. It doesn't matter to me how long it will be... just as long as there is one. DH has gotten annoyed with it before saying "Can we finish this vacation before planning the other." but he realizes that he's outnumbered and so he's gotten on board. Shoot... he's surprised I'm not already packed for Sept 2006!!! I'm already trying to figure out what ADR's to book :rotfl2:

I do EXACTLY what landmark says...I am always planning my next trip. I will be there in only 7 days (sorry, didn't mean to rub it in :guilty: ) and it will be our longest trip ever...8 days, 7 nights! We will be staying at POR for the last part of our trip so I am glad to hear you loved it!

Anyway, I am pretty sure we will get back to WDW in the spring. I will begin planning that as soon as we return from this trip. Plus, I will still come to these boards EVERY DAY...makes me feel a bit closer to WDW...if not geographically then emotionally and spiritually! Ok, I know it is corny...but it is true! :confused3

DITO!!!
Start planning another trip even though it might be far away.
Check these boards out everyday and it will keep the magic going

But you'll get together with me, right? After all, I can help you relive the Disney Magic!!! :) Bring your pictures. I'll show you mine from the last trip!! ;)

I too was living in the "going home from Disney blues". Mainly because I didn't know when I would ever get back there. Then, yesterday as we are sitting in the airport waiting to board our plane home, my husband tells me "if we take our vacation at Disney every year, he would be happy". Well, needless to say that is all I needed to hear. I immediately set the gears to spinning and have already set the dates for our return trip :teeth: . I am like most Dis'ers and enjoy the planning almost much as the actual trip. So, this is how I beat the blues.

I can totally understand! We were at POR in June and we had such a great time! Even my 2 year old twins keep saying they want to go back to "that nice hotel where there is the whole family". :lovestruc It makes we want to go back NOW! It's not in our budget to plan for another trip just yet, but I sure am looking forward to the fun of planning another one when we can!

We left POR on September 1st and I have been yearning to go back since we pulled out of the parking lot! It was our first Disney trip and it was everything I dreamed a Disney vacation would be. The kids feel the same way. Today at dinner we were talking about how much fun we had and my husband said "I cannot believe you guys have talked about Disney every single day since we got home!"

We are currently planning a 2007 trip, but that just seems so far away.

I wanna go baaaaaaaaaaak!

Oh yeah...I suffer with it too. :) The night we got home from our POR stay in June, I was tucking my 5-year-old ds in bed, and he said "Mommy, I wish I was going to bed at Port Orleans Riverside". All I could say was "So do I, honey. So do I".

On the second night of our last trip to WDW, my 7 y.o. burst into tears on our way home from a wonderful night at Chef Mickey's.

What was wrong?

"We have to go home in five more days!" was the tearful response!

Me too, rcpae! Maybe we need to start a support group. We just got home last night from POR and I am so sad. We loved it so much and had such a wonderful trip. I don't want to be back in the real world yet!

I think I may have to book another trip and atleast get planning. May ease the pain a little.

I feel a bit like all of you!!! We were at POR in june, and we LOVED IT  , my DH said its better that going at a resort under the :sunny: and doing nothing but to watch the ocean!! So on our 28 hrs drive back home, we decided that life is too short, and that we would go back shortly!

Needless to say, you don't have to tell me twice to start planning again :rotfl: we are now booked for POR  for Dec 31st thru Jan 7th!!

Get wait to get in my car and drive again 28 hrs!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
