Just back from POR (June 2-9)

Just got in from a great but exhausting week at WDW. We requested AB but got Parterre Place (the mansions). Room 9534 was a water view, ground floor. It had a lovely view and was close to the bridge to the dining area/front bus stop. Mousekeeping was fine...room always clean and tidy. The foodcourt was adequate. I never found anything that was outstanding (this is my 9th trip to POR) but the food was ok.
The parks were busy...duh, it's summer! The breezes were there and were appreciated. Longest wait was 70 minutes for Killamanjaro Safari. No fast passes were issued for this ride on the day we went to AK. We used Fast Passes when allowed and did the early morning/late night thing at the parks.
The trip was a lot of fun but my next one will be in a cooler month. The extra bonus was seeing the Space Shuttle in the sky Friday evening while we were in the pool. Awesome! Can't wait to go back in January!!!
