Any questions??

We loved it! We were in the 50's building...rooms 1442 &1443. They were on the back side of the building looking at the parking lot. It was a really quick walk to the food court...even quicker once we figured out a short cut. Parking was not a problem for us but we were back pretty early every night. We were very happy with the food court (the kids loved it)! If anyone has any questions please let me know!:D

We were there only one night which was not nearly enough! We LOVED this resort and are even considering changing our June trip ressies from WL to POP.
The food court was as great as everyone said it is. We bought the re-fillable mug even though we were only there one night. The hotel itself is so cool looking. We didn't have enough time to see it all. (we had our 15 month old baby with us)
The dancing water, our son LOVED it. He could have spent days there! Also loved the playground.
The only drawback was the check-in....it took over 30 minutes, which is the longest we have ever had to wait to check in at any WDW hotel. But our room was ready two hours early, so that was good.
All the CM's we ran into were great.
We will definitely go back to POP!!!

I'm so excited...we're booking 9 nights there in August.

Here's a question about the 50s buildings...how close are you to the Hippy-Dippy Pool? My son is a Mowgli freak so I want to be able to walk over there and use that pool.

Thanks!

Beth

Oops. One thing I forgot....we had a King room in the 60's building and I have to mention I don't think paying the extra $10 per night to be in the "preferred location" was worth it. Though, we were happy to get the King bed since it is rare to get one of those....

If you used the bus system, how long was the trip to the different parks. We are trying to decide between AS and PC. Thanks.

Did you pay extra for the prefered location or for the room with the king bed? I'm just curious because I'm hoping to get a similar room when I go in the Fall.

TIA :p

I think the 60s building is $10 more per night because it is in the middle. We stayed in the 50s and thought it was just fine, the walk was very easy.

We stayed at PC in December and loved it. Going back in September (but just for 1 night after our 7 night Disney Cruise--wish it could be longer).

Glad to hear you guys enjoyed the POP. Our neighbors just returned from POP too and they loved it. We will be spending 3 nights there next month before our Disney cruise. Yea!!!! :)

We paid the extra $10 for the location on the 60's building. Not for the King bed....
Our friends stayed in the 50's and they were a few steps away and saved the $10. Honestly I couldn't justify the extra money we paid for the location. To me, a 5 minute walk to a further building would not have been a big deal. Since we were only there one night the $10 was not a biggie...but I would have rather saved the $10, cheap-o that I am!

We're going to be there 9 nights so I figure that 10 bucks a night I save is 90 bucks I can blow in the scrapbooking store in DTD. :) :) ::yes:: ::yes::

Thanks for the tip Loretta! I know I can definitely use the extra money that I'll be saving :)

It was about a 2 min walk to the hippy dippy pool. We were so close to everything I was glad we didn't pay extra for a room in the 60's bldg.

You two make a handsome couple. Glad to hear you had a great time at the Pop. We are going for the first time in June and can't wait. I'm just hoping the Pop isn't too childish for our 13 year-old daughter. We are working with a TA but don't think we've been assigned a building as yet. Should we do that ahead of time or is that something we do upon arrival?

Thanks

We LOVED pop too. Going back next sept. We stayed in 50s in rooms 1326 & 1327. I was vry happy w/ it. Nothing to complain about. Only good things. The check in was a little long. But we got everything we wanted. Cool beans.::yes::
