Just back from POP

Just came back today from 8 days at POP

Any questions will be happy to answer.

Resort was wonderful, great food, comfortable beds, air conditioning worked great, decent size room for 3 people, didnt hear neighbors or plumbing.

Cant wait to go back

Welcome home! DH and I were there during part of your visit too. We left for home on Wednesday. I wonder if we ran into you on the bus at all...we were in the 70s building by the lake.

We were in the 50's building 3 on the 4th floor.

We thought it was pretty close to Classic Hall. The air conditioning worked wonderfuly. Our window always had moisture on them due to the tempature difference between outside and our room.

I'm sorry, I didnt notice, there are several different food stations, we only had breakfast there twice. But the micky and POP waffles are delic.

We did have a car which we used in the beginning, but then decided one day to try the bus. We liked the bus so much, we used it the rest of our trip.

It made park hopping much easier. We only had to stand twice, the rest of the time we were able to get seats. We never waited more then 5 minutes for a bus. And we didnt have to drive over to the park, wait for a tram, it was especialy easy at MK, since you dont have to go thru the transportation center.

We only ate breakfast there twice, one morning around 8am, and the other time around 9am, it seems always busy, but they seem to get you thru pretty quick, and we were always able to find a seat. When you order just ask them for it to go, that way your food will still be hot when you sit down.
The food was very good, a lot of choices.

I'm not the OP, but I've stayed at Pop twice, and the food court is really busy at that time, at least it was when we were there. I usually sent DH to get our breakfast and bring it back to the room around 6:30-7:00. I think a lot of people plan to leave around 8:30-9:00 for park opening and stop for breakfast on their way to the bus. I'm no expert, just a guess!

We arrived at about 10am, and our room was ready, we were so surprised and happy. We did not make any special requests, and the room was fine.

We were on the dining plan, and the resort restaurant was very well versed in what was a snack etc. We only had breakfast at the resort, and only twice, we had the POP waffle and Mickey waffles which were both good, my dh had a cheese omelet which he loved.

The pool was kind of chilly, but we live in Florida and have a pool that is solar heated, and our water temp is usually at 85 so to my family the water seemed cool.

My ds is 14 so the only things we noticed for kids were hoola hoops outside of Classic Hall to keep kids entertained while there parents were checking luggage etc, they also do the husstle in Classic Hall in the afternoons.
There is a game room that my DS loved and couldnt spend enough time in. lol

There are two frozen coke machines, they were both usually working at night when we came back from the parks. On occasion one would be covered. They said it was because they are so popular, they cant keep them frozen.

My DS just loved these.
