Hi all, just wanted to say that I've only been back a few days from a 2 week stay at Pop Century and the place is wonderful. First time staying on-site and it's so worth it. The way the icons are set out are really cool, food court was excellent and I loved my refillable mug, must have saved me a fortune! Can highly recommend the cheese pastry (right at the back with other baked goods), the 7 seed bagel and the breakfast bagel. Also, the meatsubs are to die for. Hubby loved the tie-dyed cheesecake too. Excellent value for money too. The rooms were lovely and clean and we had a really nice mousekeeper called Kathy, she did an excellent job and little tweaks here and there. It was very crowded at times as it's just opened but I've no complaints at all. I'd go back there in a flash. Only had to wait an average of 5 minutes for a bus and I was amazed how close we were to the main part staying in the 80s building, used to take us 2-3 minutes to walk there.

Any questions, please ask and I'll do my best to answer.

Thanks for posting..my first trip to Pop Century is still over a month away, can't wait. How was the bus at Park closings?

Howdy,

We'll be staying at the PC in April. We've never been to WDW and I'm stoked. My concerns are few and simple:

1. How comfy are the beds?
2. How thin are the walls?
3. If you were going to go back... would you stay at PC again??

In my experience, the beds were on the firmer side. This might change as they get broken in.

The walls are no thinner than any other resort on Disney property.

Would I go back? Maybe I'm biased, but of course. Actually, I'm planning on staying a night next week, so that I don't have to drive home after PI. :)

DH and I were at Pop Century last week.
1. Beds were fine. Problem I had was with the pillows. 1 piilow wasn't enough but 2 pillows were too much. I couldn't seem to get comfortable because of that. LOL
2. We could hear showers and toilets flushing in the morning while trying to sleep. Heard a baby crying 2 nights in a row.
3. Probably

We stayed there over New Years for 4 nights. It was great. We requested 60's and the top floor, which we got, and we never heard any noise from other rooms. We have stayed at All Stars many times, but will now make PC our home away from home.

The food court was crowded for breakfast, but I am thinking maybe it was because it was the holidays. Parking tho, was a whole nother game. We always got back late from the parks, and could never find a spot. Twice, I just left the car by the curb. IF you are in the 60's bldg, parking is pretty far away.

That was the only clitch. I will stay there again, absolutely!

Hi again, sorry it's taken me a few days to get back on - my pc loves throwing little wobblies!

MagicInMyHeart: the buses were great at park closing, very quick. As soon as one was full, another 2 would come along. They'd sometimes load 2 at a time as well so I thought they were excellent.

Mouskateacher:

1. The beds were very comfy, a wonderful 2 weeks of zero backpain!
2. The walls weren't too thin - all we heard was the toilet flush in the rooms next door.
3. Yes I would definitely stay at Pop Century if I went back, without a doubt!
