Let me preface this post by saying that we are normally a GF family and I was concerned about moving over to the POP for this visit. But we wanted to stay a week and I was paying for the whole trip myself, so POP it was.
We were so pleasantly surprised! We were in the 2 building of the 50's (50's are my favorite era so that was so great that we were there) back by the lake/parking lot. Loved the theming of the whole place. Everything was clean and well cared for (our room could've used a fresh coat of paint- but nothing bad. Just some scuffs on the walls). Beds were okay- way too small for us, but that is just cause they are doubles and we are king bed family. The bowling pin pool was super cool and the kids loved everything there. It was pretty quiet where we were. I did have to ask a woman on her cell phone on the walkway/balcony area speaking at 100 volume at 11:30pm to pipe down a bit (she did and was apologetic). The "nuclear" toilet flushing was very loud when you were awake, but once asleep I was never awakened by it.
The food court was crowded at "peak" times, but that's to be expected. I found the food to be really good and the selection excellent. We always found a table, even at the busiest times. Loved the EVERYTHING POP store- they had a great selection of Disney stuff and of toiletries too.
The buses were crowded but really frequent. And the resort was completely SOLD OUT (I know cause we tried to get a second room for any or all of our stay so we could spread out a little but they had nothing). We never waited for more than 15 minutes tops for a bus to or from any of the parks. People were very kind in giving up seats and I always sat with my littlest one on my lap. I was more impressed with the bus service at POP than in the past at GF.
My only complaint was that it was just so much further to the MK from the POP than from the GF. It's hard getting past that 5 minute monorail trip where you don't have to fold up the stroller!
We will definitely be staying at the POP again- hopefully soon. Any questions, please feel free to ask...

(we're at CBR). It was decorated very nicely when we were there this past Christmas! We've always stayed in the 70's buildings 6 and 10. We found this location very convenient.
