Boy, the resort was busy! I'd be happy to try to help answer any questions that I can.

Did you use conceige for any PS's? I was really curious if they could help someone with Cindy's if given an e-mail before the 60 day mark.

Which longhouse were you in?

Did you make a special request ahead of time for room assignment.

Did you do 'Ohana's or Kona?

kmermaid,
We were at Poly con in June and they did get us CRT for breakfast while we were there. When I checked in, they pulled up my PS's and said I had CRT the next morning! It was great. I had put it on my card that they mailed me & sent it back.

Best of luck! Have a great vacation! :teeth:

So tell us did you like it?? Have you stayed concierge before?? Did you find it worth the extra $$?? How was your view?? How about that for Question??!! lol :)

We just got back too and loved it. We went to O'hanas for the breakfast and it was our favorite of the trip. The character interaction was great and so was the food. We emailed the conceirge before our trip and they were able to get Cindy's breakfast for us. We ended up having the cancel because my DD is 3 and scared of lots of things. Loved to look at the castle from afar but thought that a mean witch lady lived in it and screamed whenever we got near it during the Halloween party Sunday night. I called Monday morning at 7 and wanted to cancel and they said I would not get my deposit back even though the ressie was for 9. So I went to the conceirge desk and they canceled it with no problems and I was refunded my deposit. So they can help out when needed. Hope everyone has as nice a trip as we did.

What sort of card are you talking about? Will the Poly send something to us in advance of our arrival? (I have stayed Poly concierge before, but it has been years.)

Polynesian conc will/should send you a PVI (Personal Vacation Itinerary) form to complete and return. On the PVI you may list PS requests you would like them to arrange, recreational times i.e., golf tee times, make room requests, list special celebrations, etc.

The PVI is generally mailed 60-90 days out from your vacation, but sometimes isn't mailed until later. Occasionally--and especially if you've booked through a travel agent--the form is overlooked. I personally prefer to e-mail our requests although I sometimes will use the PVI to organize my plans prior to e-mailing.

We received our PVI form extremely early--last month--and we aren't even going until June! The planning staff is on the ball this year. ;) Surprisingly, we do know what PS arrangements we will be looking for but we haven't sent the requests yet. I've gotta' save something to do other than eagerly awaiting the AP rate release! :p

We stayed in the Hawaii building. We also stayed there last September. We loved it. We filled out the itinerary so we did not need the staff for any last minute PS's. We love it there can't think of a better place to stay in WDW for our family. We can't wait to get back.
We went to Kona and had a great meal. Our kids like it there. They can each get what they want (grilled cheese, pasta and a hot dog) while we can get a "real meal" - all at the same time... and the mai tai's were great!:D

princessmomma,
the only room we requested was first floor. which we received.

tnkrbell, IMO, the conierge is worth the extra $$. For my family it is great. We had 3 kids and it is a great place to spread out and relax, as well as the breakfast and snacks during the day.

What is the email address for Poly Concierge. We are staying there Dec 27-Jan. 2, and have not received the PVI yet (we booked with a travel agent and have heard you sometimes don't recieve the PVI).

Glad you had a great time - hope our vacation is as wonderful.
