I would like to say that you showed beautiful restrain and left with your dignity. You set a higher standard to your family by not losing it. The CM was way out of line and certainly lacks compassion. Your DH would have been very effective I am sure speaking to the Manager.

I think writing the letter was an absolute. I would not want anyone else to have to go through that experience.

I remember when my DH went through chemo at 24. He lost all of his hair, eyebrows, etc. as well. We went to the Poconos to celebrate and someone (we did not know) sitting at our table made a comment infront of everyone about him being so young and bald. That stung a little for both of us.

I am glad you had a great Poly vacation. That is good to hear. We are going in Oct.

Glad you enjoyed the Polynesian! I am sorry for your experience at Citrico's (and I just recommended that restaurant to friends who are staying at the GF this November). Shame on that hostess.
