We stayed at the Poly from 12/10-12/16. We had a blast! This was so worth the money. The rooms were HUGE! We were in Samoa on the 3rd floor, facing the quiet pool. Exactly what I had requested.

Easy access to the parks. The monorail was a lifesaver some nights. And we walked to the TTC three times as this was easier than taking the monorail. Our girls called it Lizard Lane!

We ate at all three restaurants and loved them! Captain Cooks was excellent for quick meals. Kona served a generous and tasty breakfast. O'Hana was a huge hit for the kids and adults. Lots of great food here!

The Volcano pool was a thrill for the kiddies. They loved playing in the sand as well. Watching the lagoon parade and fireworks from the beach was relaxing.

Our mousekeeper made us towel animals every day. One day she even made two!! Thank you Christina!!!

We may never be able to afford it again, but I am so glad we stayed here. Not one single bad thing to report!!

Glad to hear you had a great time!!! We LOVE the Poly , we were there week after Thanksgiving, it was great!!!

This makes me so excited for my trip, especially since my dad doesn't reallllly want to stay there (but he promised last time that I could pick next time, so I picked the Poly) Thanks!

I am so glad you loved it! I agree with everything you said. It is truly magical. How was the weather this time of year for swimming?

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the Poly! We stayed there for the first time, and fell in love with it in July. Welcome back! :)

Oh, this made me so thrilled for our December 08 trip at the Poly next year! We were at the Caribbean from 12/10 - 12/16 and the weather was fabulous for swimming! It was in the 80s all week! :goodvibes

Great review, glad you enjoyed Poly! Sounds like you had a different housekeeper than us for sure. Our room was also 3rd floor Samoa but he didn't clean at all. We tipped everyday but he gave us new towels & made the beds, but no that good I might add. I would have loved a good housekeeper and towel animals is a plus too.

The volcano pool and Poly beach is awesome, my kids love it too. Still I don't know that I will like staying anywhere else after staying at the Poly :sad2: .

Just returned from Poly also Dec 9-13!!! I am now so spoiled for a monorail resort!!!! The weather was beautiful!! I love walking onto the monorail after breakfast. I don't know how I could stay anywhere else now.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Glad you had a great trip. The Polynesian is our favorite too and Samoa is our favorite longhouse too! Thanks for sharing with us.

As for swimming, we went almost every day. However, last week was a heat wave with the temp's in the low to mid 80's. And still the water was chilly. So I can not imagine swimming in the 70 degree weather this week. Unless they crank up the heat at the pool, I would not dare to get in it. Our friends little girl was turning blue around her lips on Saturday!! No joke. Us Moms stayed out while the Dad's got in and even they were complaining!

Oh how I want to go back!!

And we walked to the TTC three times as this was easier than taking the monorail. Our girls called it Lizard Lane!

your stay sounds soooo fun, lucky you! I have to ask though, what's TTC? My brain seems to be not working lol

Thank you! That makes way more sense than anything my brain was trying to formulate :)
