This was our first stay at POFQ, and I must say that we were impressed, and plan on staying here again in the future.
The newly renovated rooms are very nice. The most "deluxe" feeling of the moderates IMO.
As many others have said, I think our favorite part was the "small" feeling of the resort, but at the same time oddly enough it did not feel crowded even though they were booked solid for Easter.
We were in building 3, and it was a very short walk to anywhere we wanted to go. We had planned on having bell sevices take our bags to our room, but even though our building did not have a parking lot beside it , it was such a short walk we just did it ourselves with no effort at all. Oh! and even though it was the day before Easter, we were able to get in our room checking in at 11:00am!
We used the bus services for the first time in 29 trips this time!
It was great, and we plan to use it more in the future. We never waited long, and we were the first to be picked up. By the time we got to the last depot at Riverside it was standing room only.
Everything we had from the food court was great. The weather was so/so, so we only got to swim one time. The kids loved the slide.
The gift shop was pretty nice. I was a little disappointed in the selections they had as far as clothing goes. They had a station set up for Easter, where you just purchase the items from the store that you wanted, paid $5.00 for the basket, and then they wrapped and delivered it to your room. Very convienent, and doing it this way you could spend as much or as little as you wanted.
That's all I can think of. If anyone has any questions about the resort, or about vacationing at Easter I'd be glad to help!
