Just back from our first trip to BLT

Just got home from our first BLT trip. Loved the hotel and our room. We stayed in a studio. The location and views were all excellent. Didn't have a leaky shower head. Furniture had a few scratches here and there, but who cares. We had a Bay Lake view room and could actually see the Epcot ball and Everest from our balcony...

Also had a great view of the water pageant...

We made it up to the Top of the World lounge and enjoyed drinks and the view. That's my son enjoying his non-alcoholic beverage (Being under 18, I never let him drink alcohol past 7:00)...

We made it to community hall and played some bingo and video games. Staff was great there. Outside we tried out bocce...

I won!!! Finally, I beat him in something.

The location couldn't have been better. The room was spotless. We even had a lock on the bathroom door! Can't wait for our next stay there.

Also can you see it from the balcony on Top of the World.
Wishes is at 10pm and I want to see it from the lounge....but DD loves the dragon.

The water parade was kinda late while we were there, like 9:30-10:30ish. We were actually in our room on the 10th floor and HEARD it before we saw it. It was really loud even with the sliding glass door closed. Not a complaint, just an observation. If it hadn't been that loud we might not have noticed it, and missed it completely.

Disney had it listed as running at 10:10 for the week we were there. That was about that time we saw it. I don't know if the times are the same throughout the year, but when you check in, they give you a BLT activity sheet. It shows the times for all the community hall activities, fireworks, water pageant; outdoor movies, special events, etc.

You should be able to see it from Top of the World. There have an outdoor patio area with a great view of Bay Lake.

Thanks for the report and great pics!!! We own there since 2009 and are staying for the first time in November. I am looking forward to seeing the fireworks from the Lounge!!!
