Just back from our DVC tour!!

We already closed on DVC in April (sight unseen!). My sister and I decided that we were going to take a trip down to FL as a birthday celebration for our older sister. While we were there we thought we would tour the DVC properties. Let me just say WOW!!!!!

VWL is absoulutely amazing!!! The pictures I have seen don't even come close to what this place really looks like. To top it off the CMs were all very accomodating and friendly. We became sooooo excited for our first trip home in October!!

We also went to the other DVC properties (BW and OKW). It was our opinoin that we preferred OKW over BW (I don't want to start any debates...just our opinoin). However....we are entirely thrilled with our home resort VWL!!

This self guided tour really sealed the deal for both of us regarding our decision to buy into DVC....we then promply called my DH and thanked him for convincing us that it was a GREAT idea!!

Congratulations, and I am glad you loved it! I think I read a post from your husband the other day saying you had called him to say you approved of the purchase. He said you were not as sold on the concept as he was initially, but that you were down in Florida for your sister's birthday and you called him. Aren't you glad he convinced you? Welcome Home!!

Your excitement over VWL is great to hear! I liked Wilderness Lodge very much when we visited there to see the decorations and to go to the character breakfast at AP about a year and a half ago. Your post certainly piques my interest in going over to take a look at the VWL. I am sure we will do an add on some day, and VWL has a lot going for it (IMHO, so does the new BCV if they become part of the regular DVC as expected). Thanks for your report.
