Just back from OKW

Thanks for the report - especially since you were going in with some hesitation. We are heading down next month, and we initially wanted to stay at BCV the whole time - the only on-site place we've stayed and decided to make our home. When we couldn't get in there for the first two nights, I chose OKW because I thought it looks nice and I like the bigger rooms. However, I'm going with similar concerns that you had - since we only stayed at a brand-new resort, is OKW going to be a disappointment? But I doubt it - Magic Kingdom is still magical and beautiful after all these years!

I had reservation for next week at BCV 1BR but changed them just last week to a 1BR at OKW. As owners at BWV I think you'll be happy with OKW, we've stayed there four times and it's in fine shape. It's not brand new but it's kept up well.

I agree....I stayed in BWV this year (#4131) and OKW (bldg 43) last year. If I didn't know that OKW was older, I never would have guessed it from the condition of both resorts and villas. They were both equally nice imho.

Disney maintains all their resorts to a very high standard. Yes, all the resorts have problems from time to time but overall all Disney resorts are far above the vast majority of other hotels/resorts.
