Hi There,
Just back from 11 nights at OKW and 3 at POR. We, as always, loved OKW this time staying in Bldg 41 in a studio on the ground floor. We chose this Bldg because friends were staying in the same Bldg, we aren't smokers, although the rooms did not smell. We had a few minor maintenance issues that we had sorted within days. The only one of note was the swamping twice a day of the porch due to the watering system, it was bad!! The wood on the adjoining roon was suffering and the Engineering guy said it was very bad.
This was our first time at the Old Turtle Pond and we enjoyed it, buses came thick and fast. We enjoyed the pool although the hot tub was more out of action than in use, but again they have now changed the pump and working normally again. We grilled with friends, in fact book your spot early as the 4 grills were very busy, info photo below. The Turtle Shack shop never seemed to have any customers, just an observation. Below are a couple of reference photos for all.
