Back in Jan 2002 I booked a 2 bedroom on cash at OKW and that opened the whole world of DVC to us. As much as I tout BWV as my favorite resort, OKW will always be Home.
It was just me and the kids... no DH, in a 1 bedroom with my good friends in the Studio lock off, so it was all good. lol 4411 and 4410 in the Turtle pond area. I think this was the first time I had a door leading from the laundry room into the bathroom. That was nice, but either set up works for us. The units were on the first floor.
Everything was tidy and in good repair. I was worried about being so close to the turn around for the bus, but we heard no bus noise. Loved being in the Turtle pond area, and we all really preferred that pool to the main pool area.
Jody at check in was beyond fab. I am going to write a letter to Disney about how wonderful she was! Amoung other things we casually mentioned one of the kids birthdays, and by gosh she sent over balloons and a card, much to the delight of the birthday boy!
We did the dining plan this go around and wont be doing it again. We found it too restrictive. Sometimes I just want 3 appetizers for my dinner and the kids preferred the adult chicken nuggets to the nasty pre-formed flat chicken disks that were on the kids menus around the world. Still no complaints.
BWV is our next destination, for food and wine/Mnsshp and we can't wait. Although we will really miss Bob at the security booth and the short walk to our villas.
