Just back from Mystic Seaport (pics)

DS and I went to Mystic CT. for a few days, very nice a bit crowed at the aquarium. Had a great time, haven't been there in about 25 years. Lots to see and do. Have some pictures of Mystic Seaport if anyone is interested. any ? I'll try to answer. If anyone wants have picts of Aquarium too.

I've been to the aquarium a few times as I live in CT.
However, I've noticed that you are staying at CSR on your next trip. Would you mind posting your review, thoughts, comments as I will headed to CSR in Oct and never been before.

Yes I plan on doing some sort of report from our trip, this will be our first time at CSR also. Have you checked out the thread on CSR in the resort forum. Very helpful.

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I lived near Mystic for 3 years before moving to Italy and Mystic was one of my favorite little villages.

We were just there in July, i'm a member and will be going back for the Lobster Fest.

Was it worth the $$ to go to the seaport?? We were just down there (stayed in Westerly, RI) and went to the Mystic Aquarium (2nd time...loved it!) and Mystic Village (left DH & the kids in the car while I went to the rubber stamping/stitching store). We were thinking about doing the seaport but didn't know what we would be able to do for the admission cost. Instead we headed over to Groton and went on the submarine - real cool!

We love that area and will probably vacation there every summer.

DS & I are members at the Mystic Aquarium. Get down there once a month. We were just there today!
