had an awesome time!
First off, Monday-Wednesday was terrific, crowd wise. Barely had to wait to get on anything! Thursday was more crowded, and Friday was much worse.
Thanks to the Disboards for the tip about the BTMRR FP being disconnected from the FP system. That was a killer tip! Getting two FPs at the same time was terrific!
Stayed at HOJOs, kids LOVED the water park. I loved that it was open so late at night! There were a couple of nights we were down there in the kid area between 8-9. Again, very cool.
One thing I didn't know was that when you have a reservation for Minnie's Character Breakfast at Plaza Inn before the park opens (not on a MM), if you are one of the first reservations of the day, they don't actually let you in the park until your reservation time. We had an 8:40 am reservation on Wednesday AM, and I figured we would be let in around 8:30. They let the character breakfast line in at 8:40 on the dot.
Halloween party on 10/25 was sold out, very crowded. Lines for candy were so long until the end of the night. Got tons of candy. Fireworks show for the halloween party was awesome. Hard to get a good spot to see it, though. I LOVE halloween, it's my favorite holiday, but I'm not sure I would do the party again, not for $50 per person. The funniest thing to me was the guy on a pole dressed up as a scarecrow on the pole, just as you leave the hub to go to frontierland. He was cracking jokes, commenting on what folks were wearing, it was hilarious!
Only complaint was women's halloween shirts(BOO and spider web) only came in small or xtra small, no stores had larger sizes for several days. Looked at every store, even in dtd.
Overall, terrific trip. Thanks for all of the tips!

Hey, I was there the same days! I had no idea the party was sold out! No wonder the lines were so long..they moved pretty fast though.

If you saw a blue crayon, that was me!

We saw the scare crow too and he was great. Telling jokes and engaging the crowd. I also like the different music playing throughout the park during the Halloween party. A nice change of pace.

I was there that night, too, and the scarecrow was totally awesome! It was crowded, for sure, but fun!
